Her own mare Ten-Thirty was honored for her great influence in the community. In Kentucky, Ten-Thirty was awarded the CHA International School Horse of the Year Runner-up for 2011 and again in 2012, and the Sonoma County Equus Hall of Fame honoree in 2013. Lisa owned and trained Ten-Thirty from her birth and used her as a lesson and therapy horse for 24 years until Ten-Thirty’s death in 2012.
